Although the body is in a deep state of relaxation the mind and your sensors are more alert. The patient actively participates to suggestions and questions. You are completely in control and will instantly react or dismiss suggestions which make you uncomfortable. After the session you will more than likely be more relaxed, emotionally focussed and positive.
Hypnosis is completely safe. When you are in the state of hypnosis you are in a heightened state of awareness. You can stop the session at any time. It is a pleasant and relaxing experience.
Each individual is different. Some patients find relief in one or two session other feel they need more. You know yourself better than any other person and know how you feel after each session. Some people might feel they have not be hypnotised but given time the desired outcome will materialise.
The idea of hypnotherapy frightens some people because they think it is about losing control. In fact, it’s exactly the opposite. It’s all about you taking control of your life and the choices you make. Unlike stage and TV hypnotism, hypnotherapy is a recognised therapeutic tool used to address a wide range of practical, physical and emotional situations
